Tim Meuchel, the founder of Trade Up Consulting, graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech before spending more than a decade managing commercial and industrial construction projects from coast-to-coast. This led Tim to start his own construction company and spend another decade focusing not only on commercial work but also residential.

Over a period of several years Tim transitioned his focus to incorporate construction consulting. He has spent much of the past decade providing professional construction consulting and coaching services to clients across the United States.

Trade Up Consulting provides owner's representative services, construction expert services, and executive coaching services.

Owner's representative services for commercial and high-end custom residential projects play a critical role in helping to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget while maintaining professional quality standards. In this capacity Trade Up Consulting works as the liaison between owners, developers, designers, and contractors. 

Construction expert services for both plaintiffs and defendants include consulting services, litigation support, and testifying expert in matters such as construction quality and defect claims, contract & scope of work disputes, job site safety & injuries.

Executive coaching services include construction executive & leadership coaching, contractor business & profit coaching, and high-level operations & expert consulting.
